Timothy A. Pursley

Tim A Pursley 68 of Chicago Ridge passed away peacefully on July 13th 2025 in Kankakee, Illinois at Riverside Hospital.

Tim was born on June 23rd 1957 in Cleveland Ohio to Omer Pursely and Nell Mays (both deceased). He had two brothers Doug Bapton and Jerry Pursley (both deceased).

Tim had two sons, He is survived by his oldest son Jason T Pursley, 44 and Tim's younger son Joseph W Pursely, who passed away in 2017 at the age of 32. Tim is survived by the love of his life Vera.

Tim was a beloved uncle and great uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Tim was a devoted father and husband who enjoyed billiards, bowling, horse racing, and poker. He loved to listen to blues and oldies music that he would attend blues festivals in Chicago. He was a fun dad that loved coaching both his sons baseball teams. They shared the love of sports together. He believed in the Christian faith Jesus Christ.

Tim was a local union 731 truck driver for over 20 years with Walsh Construction. Tim retired in 2015.

Tim will be dearly missed by his family.
