Ruth T. Nichols, age 94, passed away on Thursday, January 4th, 2024.

 

Ruth is survived by her beloved children Mariann (Chet) Wrobel, Sharon (Patrick) Flight; grandchildren, Lauren Tarczynski, Megan Demas, Andrew Wrobel, Cassandra Wrobel, Maximilian Wrobel, Jack Wrobel, Amanda Flight, Thomas Flight, Marikate Flight, and Kaitlin Flight; great grandchildren, Hunter, Caden, Liam, Connor, Zooey, Brooklyn, and Blakely, and sibling, Maureen Nolan.

 

She is preceded in death by, her beloved husband, Joseph B. Nichols, her parents John and Ruth Franzen, son Joseph (Joey) Nichols, grandson Baby Kyle Flight, and sisters Joan Healy, Jean LaMountain, and Joyce Kopecky.

 

Ruth will always be remembered for her strong Catholic faith and love of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. In her earlier years, Ruth was a member of the Blue Army and President of St. Germaine Women's Club.  Ruth's final job was working for a cause that she loved, the Illinois Right to Life.  She will be missed by all that knew her.

 

Services for Ruth will be held at a later date at  St. Anthony Catholic Church, 7659 Saulk Trail,  Frankfort
