Ruth M. Landry

Ruth M. Landry age 98. Born Feb. 19, 1927. At rest May 26, 2025. Adoring wife of the late Oliva “Bucky” Landry (1983). Beloved mother of Steven (Sue) of Hoosick Falls, NY and Richard (Margaret) of Worth, IL. Cherished grandmother of 14 and great grandmother of 24 and numerous great-great grandchildren. Her life began in Chatham, NY, as 1 of 6 siblings. 1 sister, Doreen, remains. Raised her family in Hinsdale, MA. Spent her older years in Pittsfield, MA, until moving to Worth in 2017 for the last leg of her journey.

Ruth leaves behind a legacy of a large, loving family, including many nieces and nephews with whom she shared a loving bond. Visitation Saturday, May 31, 2025 from 9 – 10:30am at Palos-Gaidas Funeral Home, 11028 Southwest Highway, Palos Hills, IL 60465, to Our Lady of the Ridge Church, 10836 S. Oxford, Chicago Ridge, IL 60415 for Mass at 11:00 am.
