Rosemary Foyle

Rosemary Foyle (nee Tillery) age 84, formerly of Palos Hills. She spent the last 30 years of her life without her beloved/loving husband, Raymond Harvey Louis Foyle, Jr., who passed away from cancer in 1996, and is now rejoicing to be reunited with him. She was the devoted daughter of Samuel Leonard Tillery who passed away in 1991 and Elizabeth Beaver Tillery, who was lost to cancer in 1966, and her sister Diane Martel who also predeceased her. Beloved mother of Ruth (Robin) Meek, Rhonda Harsch, and Rebecca Peitzmann. She doted on her grandchildren, Rae Winona Peitzmann and Samuel Michael Peitzmann, and will surely be watching over them with pride. She will be remembered as a woman of great faith who found many friends and comfort in her church, New Beginnings (previously Calvary Memorial) Church in Palos Hills. Besides her family and friends she loved her garden, solving puzzles, and was a voracious reader. She and her husband shared a love for the Great Smoky Mountains/Blue Ridge Mountains and nature in general. Even through a few years of congestive heart failure and other ailments she remained positive and her home was a place of peace and many happy gatherings.

Services will be held privately but if you would like to make a donation to the American Heart Association in her honor that would be very much appreciated.
