Romas A. Blazys

Romas “Roman” Antanas Blazys, age 52, passed away unexpectedly, January 8 2026.

Loving and devoted son of Laima nee Kudirka and the late Dr. Raymond Blazys, Loving brother of Lora ( Juozas) Mikuzis; dearest uncle of Juozas Jr., Paulius and Matas; doting godfather of Juozas Mikuzis Jr. and Evianna Balciauskas. Godson of Ramute Balciauskas; . cherished nephew of Dalia Norkaitis and Julius Blazys. He is survived by many cousins, , nieces and nephews in America, Canada and Europe. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Magdalena nee Ankudavicius and Feliksas Kudirka, Sofija nee Gurenas and Dr. Walter Blazys. Preceded in death by his uncle and godfather Dr. Anthony Blazys.

His family and friends are devastated by this loss and feel he left this world too soon.

He will be forever missed.

Family and friends will gather for a memorial visitation on Friday ,January 30, 2026 9:00 a.m until time of mass 11:00 a.m. at Blessed J. Matulaitis Mission 14911 E 127ti St. Lemont , Interment St Casimir Cemetery
