Roman Patrick Gill

With broken hearts, we share the devastating loss of Roman Patrick Gill, who passed away unexpectedly on June 4, at just two months old.

Roman was born on April 4, 2025, to his loving parents, Patrick and Palak Gill (née Desai). Though his life was heartbreakingly brief, Roman was deeply loved and brought light and meaning to everyone who knew him. His presence has left a mark that time cannot erase.

He is the beloved grandson of Rajiv and Ilona Desai, Terrence Gill, and Debra Gill, and the cherished nephew of Ronak (Knika) Desai, Justin (Kathleen) Gill, Mark Gill, and Heather (Samuel) Gill Fox.

Roman’s favorite things in this world were windows and lamps. He always sought the light. Roman’s memory lives on in the hearts of his family and friends, who will forever look up for him—in love, and in the light he leaves behind.

Family and friends will gather for a visitation on Monday, June 9, 2025 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service 12.00 p.m. at Palos-Gaidas Funeral Home 11028 Southwest Hwy. Palos Hills, IL 60465.
