Pearl C. Cardinale

Pearl C. “Nicki” Cardinale, age 80, peacefully passed away on September 11, 2026, surrounded by family. She is now reunited in eternal rest with her loving husband, Salvatore D. Cardinale and her mother Lucille Simmons (Cybulski).

Pearl was a loving and devoted mother to her children, Mario C.(Marla) Aguinaga, Sr. and Dawn (Ron) Ingram. Loving Grandmother of Erica (Kyle) Adams, Scott Ingram, Nicholas (Allana) Aguinaga, Christopher (Alexa) Ingram, Monica (Niko) Garcia, Kaitlin (Tyler) Ash, and Mario C. Aguinaga, Jr.

Great Grandmother “GiGi” of Peyton, Jordyn, Lennox, Crew, Lincoln, Madden, Killian, Nash, Samuel, Harper, Legend, Sage, Logan, Hazel, Lettie and Titan.

Pearl a/k/a “Bunnie” cherished every moment spent with her family, especially her Great Grandchildren, taking immense pride and joy in their accomplishments and happiness along with being an avid collector of bunnies.

Pearl “Nicki” will be dearly missed but fondly remembered by all who were fortunate to know her. Her legacy of love for her family will live on in the hearts of her loved ones forever.

Family and friends gather for a visitation Wednesday, 3–8 p.m. Funeral Thursday 10:30 AM at the Palos-Gaidas Funeral Home 11028 Southwest Highway, Palos Hills, IL 60465. Interment St. Mary Cemetery.
