Mercedes Valentin nee Mendez age 88 passed away peacefully on December 10, 2024; resident of Palos Heights. Beloved wife of the late Clemente Valentin; loving mother of Mina (Concepcion) Lopez, Clemente Valentin Jr. Yolanda (Santonio) Melendez, Aide (Hector) Massini, Marilyn Valentin  (Luis R. Hernandez), David Valentin and the late William (Armandina) Valentin; cherished grandmother of 22, proud great-grandmother of 19 and great-great grandmother of 1; dearest sister of Felipa Mendez, Lucia (Concepcion)Hernandez, Genoveva (the late Jose) Vale, Sabina (Luis) Sanchez, Ruben (Doris) Mendez and the late Guillermo, Israel and Antonio Mendez.
