Martin J. Tyler, Sr.

Martin J. Tyler Sr., husband of the late Isobel A. Tyler (née Campbell), was the father of 9 (Martin Jr., Donna Marie [Richard Tatar], Eugene [Christi], Kristine [Rick], Timothy [Carol], Scott [Marcia], Beverlie [Bill], Barbra [Robert Distasio Sr.], and Isobel [Sam]), grandfather of 10, great-grandfather of 11, brother of 10, and uncle of far too many to count. He is met in heaven by his wife Isobel, son Martin Jr., great-grandson Dylan Tatar, and many other family members and friends. His 96 years on Earth were spent being a dedicated family man,WWII Navy Veteran, and proud Chicago Police Officer for 31 years. “There'll be pennies from heaven for you and me. Funeral Wednesday 9:00 a.m. from the Funeral Home to St. Daniel the Prophet Church, Mass 11:30 a.m., Interment will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery at 2:30 p.m.
