Margaret M Hanrahan

It is with profound sadness and much love that we say goodbye to our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, Margaret “Margie” Hanrahan, 88, of Chicago, Illinois, who passed away peacefully on June 24, surrounded by her family.

Born on June 29, 1937, in Bridgeport, Margie dedicated her life to her family and her faith.

Known for her infectious laugh and warm demeanor, Margie was the heart of our family. She enjoyed spending summers in Michigan and cherishing time with her loved ones.

She is survived by her children, Eileen (Tim) and Jack; her grandchildren, Sean, Daniel, Caitlin, and Dallas; and her beloved sisters, Shirley (the late Denny) and sister-in-law Therese McGarry (the late Jack) and her many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bernie and sisters Joannie and Mary.

Visitation for Margaret will take place on Saturday, June 27 from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Palos-Gaidas Funeral Home with a Funeral Service at 7:30 p.m.
