Lynn M. Grana

Lynn (Modla) Grana, 57, of Illinois, passed away on June 7, 2026.

Born in Evergreen Park and raised in the Chicago area, Lynn was the daughter of Edward and the late Phyllis Modla. She is survived by her husband, Jim; her father, Edward; her sister, Donna (John) Leslie; and her brother, Edward Modla. She was preceded in death by her mother, Phyllis Modla.

Lynn graduated from A. A. Stagg High School and earned her master’s degree from Southern Illinois University. She was employed by the American College of Surgeons where she was known for her dedication and professionalism.

Lynn was devoted to her beloved cats and was an avid music lover who found great joy and inspiration in music throughout her life. She will be remembered for her kind and caring nature with a generous spirit that touched the lives of many, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Family and friends will gather for visitation on Sunday 3- to 8 p.m. at the Palos-Gaidas Funeral Home 11028 Southwest Hwy. Palos Hills, IL 60465.

Funeral Monday, family and friends will meet directly at Sacred Heart Church, mass 10:30 a.m. Interment Private
