Louise Marianne Murawski

In Loving Memory of Louise Marianne Fragassi Murawski 1933 – 2025

Devoted Wife, Cherished Mother and Nonna (Grandmother), Trusted Professional, and Lifelong Friend with hearts full of love and gratitude, we honor the extraordinary life of Louise Marianne Fragassi Murawski , “Lu Babe” who passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by loved ones at the age of 92. She was the beloved wife of Thaddeus “Ted” M. Murawski , her partner in life and lovefor 72 years. Together they built a warm and joyful home, raising five children: Ronalie Murawski , Mike Murawski (Joan-An), Natalie Murawski-Schuch (John), Tim Murawski (Alaina), and Juliette Fry . She was also a deeply proud grandmother to Mike Murawski II (Natalie), Tiffany Murawski , Tatum Louise Fry , Palmer Fry , and Thatcher Fry . Louise was a woman of remarkable spirit and unwavering devotion — to her family, her faith, her community, and the many passions that brought joy and meaning to her life. She was vivacious, charismatic, animated, and wonderfully verbose — a force of naturewith an infectious laugh, a flair for storytelling, and a heart always open to others. She showed her love through constant encouragement, thoughtful gestures, and the countless meals and baked goods she joyfully shared with family, friends, and anyone inneed of comfort. She was a proud graduate of Mercy High School of Chicago, Class of 1952 , and never stopped learning or striving. A devoted Licensed Financial Planner and Insurance Agent/Broker for nearly 50 years, Louise was a trusted professional known for her intelligence, work ethic, and integrity. Louise’s love for music began in childhood, when she first learned classical piano — a foundation that blossomed into a lifelong passion. Her musical tastes were as wide-ranging and bold as she was, spanning opera, blues and rock and roll , and she shared this love through her joyful participation in the choirs at Sacred Heart Parish in Palos Hills and St. Patricia Parish in Hickory Hills .In her community, Louise was a respected and active member of the Oak Lawn Business & Professional Women’s Club for many decades, advocating for women and championing service, leadership, and connection. And she was, with true Chicago pride, a die-hard Cubs and Bears fan — loyal throughhighs and heartbreaks alike. Her enthusiasm for her teams was matched only by the energy she brought to every aspect of life.

Louise leaves behind a legacy of deep love, lasting impact, and joyful spirit. Her life was a beautiful symphony of devotion, generosity, resilience, and laughter. She will be deeply missed, especially because of her big, bold and bright personality that touched the hearts of everyone she met. In lieu of flowers, donations to Mercy Circle – Attn: Development, 3659 W. 99th Street, Chicago, IL 60655 would be appreciated.
