Lidia G. King

Born in Stockdale TX. on Jan. 20, 1929, formally from San Antonio, TX. residing in Palos Hills since 1967. Lidia crossed over peacefully in her sleep on August 7, 2026, in her home of 60 years. She along with her Beloved the late husband Ramon D. King raised 7 children. She leaves behind a beautiful legacy to them all, Stella (Moses) Villasenor, Calista (David) Sauseda, the late Maria King, Guillerma/Mimie Brown, Ramon A. King JR., Esequiel/Kico (Roberta) King, Jesus R. King, the late Bernarda (the late Alfredo) Gutierrez, and the late Sylvia King, Grandmother to 39, Great Grandmother to 93 and Great-Great grandma to 66 plus one on the way.
Lidia worked at GTE for 30 years until the plant closed. She was very involved in the Palos Hills Fireman Woman’s Auxiliary and the 49rs. She was always a very hard-working woman and a kind soul to everyone she met. She taught her children to be good, kind people, and to help whenever help was needed. She was the foundation of everything we are; she was our rock and will be truly missed. All arrangements entrusted to Orrico Kourelis Funeral Services Inc.

Family and friends will gather for visitation Wednesday August 12th 3:00- 8:00 p.m. Funeral Thursday 8:30 AM at Palos -Gaidas Funeral Home 11028 Southwest Hwy. Palos Hills, IL 60465 9:00 a.m. Prayers to Sacred Heart Church 10:00 a.m.
