Kathryn A Levoy

Kathryn A. LeVoy, age 85, passed away suddenly. A longtime resident of Palos Hills, Kathryn was a devoted and loving mother to Kara, Runa, and Anna LeVoy.

She was the dear sister of Joan (the late George) Weimer and Kay Gibson. Kathryn was also a beloved aunt to Chad (Barrett) Duffy. She worked for many years for Time magazine and Roosevelt University. She got to meet great people at both places & loved working in downtown Chicago. She raised 3 daughters as a solo parent and took great joy in seeing them pursue their dreams and succeed in life. She loved spending her retired years in all sorts of travel adventures, making her home beautiful and taking great care of her beloved patio garden. Every year it was more beautiful than the last. She loved flowers and being outside all summer long to enjoy them. She was most happy when a day would allow her to be part of the simple things like gardening, Patio dinners and hanging with Anna, Runa and Kara. She loved those moments the best! We will remember and always be grateful for all that we had and did together for many years. She knew we loved her dearly.
