Judita Dargis

Judita Dargis October 28, 1934 – December 17, 2025

Judita Dargis (Zonaite), age 91, passed away peacefully at home in Orland Park, IL. Judita was born to her parents, Gustavas Zonas and Adele Lopetaite (Baltramonaitiene), in Radviliskis, Lithuania.

After the war that displaced her family, she emigrated to Australia where she met her (now deceased) husband Stasys Dargis (Darginavicius). They were married on January 3, 1959 and soon there after, immigrated to the United States and settled in Chicago. They were blessed with two children: Edward and Vilija (Casey) Krajewski and was a loving grandmother to Andrew, Lidija (deceased) and Tomas Krajewski.

A brief visitation will be held Friday, January 9, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi, 15050 S Wolf Rd, Orland Park. Memorial Mass to follow at 10:30 a.m.

There will be a private committal ceremony at St. Casimir Lithuanian Catholic Cemetery, in the near future.
