John A. "Red" Machay, age 81. Beloved husband of Shirley (nee Swanson). Devoted father of John (Janice), Richard (Julie), Michelle Machay, the late Kenneth and stepfather of Susan Young and Roberta (Larry) Zyla. Loving grandfather of 5 and great grandfather of 2. Dear brother of Eugene (Rose) Machay and the late Charles (the late Marge) Machay. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Over 35 years of service with the City of Chicago- Dept. of Forestry. Member of Retreads and Stragglers Motorcycle Clubs.
