Jerome R. Plienis

Jerome R. Plienis, US Army reservist for 6 years. Resident of Evergreen Park, IL. age 79 years. Passed away peacefully with family by his side. Beloved husband and love of his life for 53 years to Kathleen nee Chapman; loving father of Kevin Plienis; devoted son of the late Anthony and Viola nee Globis; dearest brother of Philip (Ann), Diane and the late Antony Plienis; Cherished son-in-law of the late William and Marjorie Chapman.

Former member of the Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce, proud owner and operator of AJ Meats for over 50 year in Marquette Park and Evergreen Park. Class of 64 Mendel H.S. 

Jerome was loved by all who knew him. 

In Lieu of flowers donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital would be appreciated.

Family and friends will gather for a Memorial Visitation on Wednesday, February 25, 2026  10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass 11:00 a.m. at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church 9525 South Lawndale, Evergreen Park, IL 60805. Interment Private
