James "Jim" Williams

James “Jim” Williams, 73, of Chicago, Illinois, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2025.Born on November 9, 1951, Jim was preceded in death by his wife, Jeannie, and later shared his life with Mary Maddox.

He was the proud father of Josh (Joanna), Jeremy (Jessica), and Jaime (Rich). Jim cherished his grandchildren Jacob, Julianna, Jillian, James, Theodore, and Jackson.

He is survived by his siblings Eddie; Rickey (late wife Diane); and Sheila Henke (Todd). Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie and Irene Williams, and by his brother Terry.

Jim was also a beloved brother-in-law, cousin, uncle, and friend to many.

Family and friends will gather for visitation on Sunday, September 14, 2025 3:00 p.m.to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service Monday 11:00 a.m. at the Palos-Gaidas Funeral Home 11028 Southwest Hwy. Palos Hills, IL 60465. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery

Jim was a man of few words, remembered for his quiet strength, quick wit, and love for family.
