James P. Bell, Sr.

Husband of 54 years to Gwen (nee Grames) and father of James Bell, Jr. Jim was preceded in death by his brother Edward (the late Joan) Bell, Robert (the late Irene) Bell, and his brother-in-law Fred Balas. He is survived by his sister Virginia (the late Joseph) Robin,  his sister Patricia (Anthony) Lizzo, in-laws Priscilla and Joseph Winkleman, and sister-in-law Gloria Grames. Jim was loved by numerous nieces and nephews.

Jim proudly served in the Marine Corps. He had a passion for reading and playing the organ and saxophone.

Family and friend will gather for a memorial visitation  on Saturday, November 11, 2023 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, Palos Hills, IL . Interment Private
