Irene Pankus

Irene Pankus (Žumbakyte/Pabediskiene) died February 16, 2020, at the age of 88. Irene was born on September 26, 1931 in Tauragė, Lithuania. She is survived by her loving family: cherished husband of 67 years, John; son Thomas, daughters Ellen Lieponis (Algis) and Kristina (Aldo), grandchildren Karolina Woolley (Randy) and Pauli (Ashley), and beloved great-grandson Lukas Woolley. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Lithuanian World Center are appreciated. Memorial visitation Friday, Feb. 21st, 10 AM until time of Mass, 11 AM at Blessed Jurgis Matulaitis Church, 14915 127th St. Lemont, IL 60439. (Visitation and Funeral Memorial Mass will all take place at Blessed Jurgis Matulaitis Church).
