Frances M. McCabe

Frances M. McCabe, age 86, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 19, 2025. Born on October 28, 1938, daughter of the late Peter and Celia Mikol. Beloved wife of the late Frank McCabe. Loving mother of Mary McCabe, Joseph (Janet) McCabe, James (Michelle) McCabe, and John (Heather) McCabe. Cherished grandmother of Julie (Brianna) Brickey, Kevin (Jessica) McCabe, Collin (Ashley) McCabe, Gabrielle McCabe, Jack McCabe and Henry McCabe. Proud great-grandmother to Rylee, Travis and Ellis. Fond sister, aunt and friend to many. Fran was an avid gardener, bowler and engaged in numerous church activities. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cook County Farm Bureau Foundation. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at the Palos-Gaidas Funeral Home, 11028 Southwest Highway, Palos Hills, IL. Funeral Friday, family and friends are asked to meet directly at St. Michael’s Church, 14327 Highland Ave, Orland Park for 9:30 am funeral mass. Interment will follow at St. James at Sag Bridge Cemetery.
