Eugene S. Griggs

Eugene S. Griggs, age 80 years; Combat veteran of U.S. Marines; beloved husband of Patricia nee Supis; loving father of  Michael ( Maureen) , David and Kevin (Devon) Griggs; Cherished grandfather of Tyler, Emily, Ethan, Synobia, David II, Lorianna, Arden, Kaitlyn and Hailey Griggs; dearest brother of the late George and Diane Griggs; dear uncle of many nieces and nephews; kind brother-in-law of Shirley (Patrick) Higgins and the late Richard Supis and Dorothy Kloss.

Eugene was a Federal Agent , and was a member of Cardinal Mundelein Knights of Columbus, former Teamster , Cub Scout Master, Coach and Eucharistic Minister. 

Family and friends will gather for visitation on Monday, January 12, 2026 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Tuesday, 9:15 a.m. prayers at the Palos-Gaidas Funeral Home 11028 Southwest Hwy. Palos Hills, IL 60465, to  Our Lady of St. Germaine Church, Mass 10:00 a.m.   Interment St. Casimir Lithuanian Cemetery
