Elizabeth ‘Liz” Piwowar

Elizabeth F. “Liz” Piwowar (nee Banasiak). Born into life December 23, 1925, born into eternity June 17, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Edward “Babe” Piwowar. Devoted mother of Ronald E. (Nancy) Ruda. Loving grandmother of the late Christopher Bennett Ruda-Piwowar. Cherished daughter of the late Steve and Josephine Banasiak. Fond sister of the late Jean, Walter, Chester and Edward. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Twenty-eight years of service at Campbell Soup (Chicago). Member of Sacred Heart ACCW, Fun Club, Handmaids of the Altar, Shawl Club, PADS and Palos Hills New Horizon Club. Visitation Thursday, June 26th, 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Palos Gaidas Funeral Home, 11028 Southwest Hwy. (7700W) Palos Hills. Funeral Thursday 11:30 a.m. Mass at Sacred Heart Church. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
