David Edward Polk
b. May 11, 1951
David Edward Polk passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2024; beloved husband of 31 years to Carlotta nee Garcia, David played semi pro ice hockey for 20 years, he was an avid bowler, Illinois State trooper for five years and retired from the Museum of Science and Industry, where he worked for over 43 years. Later he played light percussion with several bands in the area, Night Shift, Nite Life, he played with Eddie Korosa , and most recently Flip Side. Family and friends will gather for a visitation on Friday, 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service Saturday 11:00 a.m. at the Palos- Gaidas Funeral Home 11028 Southwest Highway, Palos Hills, IL. Interment St. Mary Cemetery.
