Catherine Frances Moore

Catherine was born in Chicago, Illinois on November 3, 1934 to the late George Mulcahy and the late Mary Mulcahy (nee Brennan). She passed away peacefully on December 2, 2025 at Smith Village in Chicago. Beloved wife of the late John Moore and previously of the late John Sullivan. Loving Mother of Cathy, Dan (Bridget), Terry and Tom. Proud grandmother of 8 and great grandmother of 3. Loyal sister to the late Mary Garman, Colette Zola, Roberta Burns and Patrick Mulcahy. Loved by many nieces and nephews and other family members. She enjoyed being with family and friends, dancing and travelling and thoroughly enjoyed her life though her early life was not easy as a single parent of 4. She was a strong-willed woman yet had a heart of gold and was kind and gracious to everyone she encountered in her life. There will be Memorial Mass to celebrate her life on Monday, December 8 at 11:30 at St. Christina Church.
