Carol Schinter

Carol M. Schinter passed away on the morning of July 22, 2020 at the age of 83 peacefully at her home in OakLawn Illinois. Carol was born in Chicago Illinois to the late William and Frances Roth in 1936. On November 12, 1955 she married her beloved husband Lino J. Schinter and would have had their 65th wedding anniversary this year. Together they raised two children Donna and John. Carol enjoyed recipes, dancing, gardening, her love of animals and spending time with family. She and her husband loved to travel in their motor home. Their favorite place was Key West Florida. She was such a vibrant spirit and was not afraid to try anything. Carol was preceded in death by her beloved husband Lino. She is survived by her daughter Donna (Fred) Schultz of New Buffalo, Michigan and her son John (Maritza) Schinter of Chicago Illinois: 7 grandchildren; Vanessa (Dave Jr.), Danielle (Basil), Christopher, Victoria (Marcus), Brigitte, Craig (Marisa) and Malani. 5 great grandchildren; Christos, Andrew, Demi, David, and Paige Carolynn. A viewing will be held at Palos-Gaidas Funeral Home on Monday July 27, 2020 from 9-11am followed by the burial at St. Casimir Cemetery.
