Ann M. O'Brien

Born July 10, 1935 in Chicago. Passed into history July 4, 2020, at home; cared for by loving family. Beloved and devoted wife of Frank. Loving mother of Sherry (Jim) Strycker, Frank (Robin) O'Brien, Dan (Linda) O'Brien and Mary O'Brien. Preceded in death by her youngest son, John (Kim) O'Brien. Also survived by 10 Grandchildren: Sarah, Jamie, and Michelle Strycker; Danny, Jason, Bobby (Amy), Tracey, Emily and Tommy O'Brien; Aimee (Scott) Zalewski; and 5 Great-Grandchildren: Hailey, Joshua, Mia, Alex and Jack. Master’s Degree Graduate, Teacher, Financial Aid Director; and now the best cook in Heaven. At one time, she was affectionately known as Fang Grandma. Fan of Willie Nelson and Neil Diamond; and Dry Tanqueray Martinis. Her favorite pastime, when not surrounded by family, was walking on the beach. She was known to do this with or without a martini in hand. Please don’t send flowers.
