Anna A. Slabe

Anna Alice Slabe (nee Slaviero), age 95. Anna passed peacefully, at home, on August 28th, 2024. She was the beloved wife of the late Frank E. Slabe for 71 years. Anna was the loving mother of Barbara (the late Ken), Frank (Karen), the late Nancy (Stephen), Sharon (Dean) and Janet (Scott). Cherished grandmother of nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her pride and joy. Anna lived for her family. She enjoyed raising her children and watching them grow up to be well educated, goal minded adults. Family and friends to gather Saturday, Mass at 11:00 am at Our Lady of the Ridge Church, 108th and Oxford, Chicago Ridge, IL. Interment will be Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Nancy Nolan Memorial Scholarship Fund at Central Catholic High School 1201 Airport Road, Bloomington Illinois 61704.
