Alexander W. Watson, age 89 of Lemont Illinois. Veteran U.S. Army National Guard.

Beloved husband of the late Patricia H. Watson (nee Harnois). Loving father of Debbie Watson-Daugherty and James (Jennifer) Watson. Cherished grandfather of Alexandria (Micheal) Ball, Victoria Daugherty, Connor Daugherty, the late Chloe Daugherty, Mitchell Watson, Jessica Watson and Colin Majewski. Adored great grandfather affectionally known as “Paw Paw” to Watson Alexander Ball and Amelia Louise Ball. Dear brother of Margaret Dehne and Mary Frances Watson. Alexander is survived by Linda Reichert, the love he needed to complete his life. “Big Al” was a force all his own, radiating boundless wisdom and energy, paired with his playful, lighthearted nature. His faith was strong and personal. He lived for grass cutting days on his John Deere and a “Country Thunder” cup of coffee. He lives forever in our hearts and will be deeply missed by his extended family and friends.

Visitation Friday June 26, from 10:00am until time of Funeral Service at 1:00pm at the Palos Gaidas Funeral Home 11028 SW Hwy, Palos Hills, IL 60465. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Gardens South Cemetery 11333 S Central Ave, Oak Lawn, IL 60453
