Alexander Schalasky, age 83, resident of Oak Lawn. Beloved husband of Linda, nee Johnson; loving father of Debbie (Rob) Cummins, Patrick (Millie) Davis, Michael (Betanda) Schalasky, and Sherri (Patrick) Hickey; cherished grandfather of R.J. (Missy) Brongel, Timothy Davis, Ryan Davis, Michael Schalasky, Alex Hickey, Jacob Schalasky, Kacey Cummins, Jack Hickey, and Andrew Schalasky; proud great-grandfather of Jaxon and Gavin Bronge, and the late Tyler Brongel; dear brother of the late Gerald Schalasky

Alexander was a proud member of Teamsters Local 705 and a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Oak Lawn.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 1, from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm at the Palos-Gaidas Funeral Home, 11028 Southwest Hwy, Palos Hills. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm. Interment will be private.
