Anna "Ann" Eva McNichols (nee Teufel), age 92. Beloved wife of the late Carl Gross and the late Gerald McNichols. Devoted mother of Carol (the late Jim) Nicol, Diane (John) Ryan and Robert Gross. Cherished grandmother of 9 and great grandmother of 13. Sister of the late Gloria Teufel. Proud stepmother of Maureen, Colleen, Pat, and Tim, and step grandmother of 6. Ann was an avid player of bridge, golf and piano. She was a fashion icon, photographer, world traveler, cook, baker, storyteller, and a lover of sweets, flowers, butterflies and Vito & Nick's pizza. Funeral Thursday, Dec. 28th, 10 AM from the funeral home to St. Christina Church, 111th & Christiana-Chicago, for 11 AM Mass. Interment St. Mary Cemetery.
