James Staros, age 70, U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam War. Beloved husband of the late Mary Louise (nee Mazenis). Cherished son of Rosemary and the late James P. Staros. Loving brother of Nancy (Thomas) Furlong, John (Sandra Fawkes) Staros and Robyn Staros. Also survived by many loving relatives and friends. Jim was a longtime member of the American Culinary Federation and was very involved at his beloved Sacred Heart Parish. Visitation Wednesday 3-9 PM at the Palos-Gaidas Funeral Home, 11028 Southwest Hwy. (7700W) Palos Hills. Funeral Thursday 9 AM from the funeral home to Sacred Heart Church for 10 AM Mass.
